Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Gau Palak mobile application ("App"), published and operated by Leela Studios ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About the App

Gau Palak allows users to participate in symbolic, virtual cow-care activities ("seva") during designated daily time windows, earn non-monetary reward points ("Punya"), track streaks and milestones, and view their standing on a community leaderboard.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Account & Access

The App uses anonymous authentication to identify your device/session. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device on which the App is installed. We are not responsible for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your device.

4. Punya Points & Virtual Currency

• Punya points, streaks, milestones, and leaderboard rankings are virtual, symbolic, and non-monetary. They have no real-world cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, redeemed for cash, or sold.
• Any in-app wallet recharge or purchase made through the App is processed via Google Play's billing system and is subject to Google Play's own terms and refund rules, in addition to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• We reserve the right to adjust, reset, or discontinue Punya points, streaks, or leaderboard structures at any time, including at the end of a season or event.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to manipulate leaderboard rankings, exploit bugs, reverse-engineer the App, or use the App for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms.

6. Devotional & Symbolic Nature

The App is designed as a devotional and community engagement tool. It does not represent, and should not be understood as, physical or veterinary care of any actual animal. Any resemblance to real-world cow shelters or goshalas is symbolic and for engagement purposes unless explicitly stated otherwise within the App.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and branding within the App are owned by Leela Studios unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce or redistribute App content without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leela Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
