This Privacy Policy explains how Leela Studios ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Gau Palak mobile application ("App").
1. Information We Collect
- Anonymous account identifiers: The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique, anonymous session identifier for your device. We do not require your name, email, or phone number to use core App features.
- App activity data: Seva participation, streaks, Punya points, milestones, and leaderboard standing associated with your anonymous identifier.
- Payment information: If you choose to recharge your in-app wallet, payment is processed by Google Play's billing system. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details — these are handled entirely by Google Play and its payment partners.
- Technical data: Basic device and diagnostic information (such as app version and crash logs) may be collected to maintain App stability.
2. How We Use Information
- To operate core App features (seva tracking, Punya points, streaks, leaderboard)
- To maintain and improve App performance and reliability
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse (e.g. leaderboard manipulation)
3. Data Storage & Location
App data is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), hosted in the asia-south1 (Mumbai, India) region.
4. Third-Party Services
The App relies on the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (authentication, database, hosting infrastructure)
- Google Play's billing system (for any in-app wallet recharges)
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share App data with third parties except where required to operate the App (such as the service providers listed above) or where required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain anonymous App activity data for as long as your account remains active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with your anonymous account by contacting us at orioncjose@gmail.com.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
